Hansley Cagdan is the newest addition to our Vancouver Orthotics team as a Chiropractor. Hansley earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California, after completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree at UBC.

He has worked countless hours throughout the last year at the Student and Outpatient Clinic at Palmer College, treating a diverse range of patients and rapidly gaining experience and knowledge early on in his career. Along with chiropractic care, Hansley utilizes many other various modalities to guide his patient’s to achieving better health, such as, manual massage, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), Kinesio taping, Active Rehabilitation, and Cold Laser therapy. Hansley focuses on the sustainability of his patients by emphasizing muscle strengthening and preventative care, and helping the patients apply healthy habits into their lives.

Dr. Castelo Branco was Born in South Africa and graduated with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic with Cum Laude distinction from the University of Johannesburg. She practiced for 8 years in a family-based practice, caring for a variety of people of all ages, including pregnant families, athletes and including providing chiropractic care for underprivileged communities near Johannesburg,

Dr. Castelo Branco provides a holistic approach to chiropractic care that focuses on wellness and prevention. She has a gentle, hands-on approach that utilizes manual chiropractic and instrument-assisted techniques (diversified and Activator techniques respectively) to help you improve your body at every stage of life. For instance, she can focus on pain-relief, posture-care, and/or maintenance and wellness care to respect your health goals.

Dr. Castelo Branco is Board certified in both South Africa and Canada. In addition, she is trained and certified to provide the Webster technique, which is known to help optimize pelvic alignment. Many pregnant families benefit from this technique for before, during and after pregnancy.

Dr. Castelo Branco has completed the prestigious International Certificate in Sport Chiropractic (ICSC) and she is a certified FAKTR Rehab Provider (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab). She is a member of the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association (ICPA) and the International Federation of Sport Chiropractic (FICS).
